The text field on your right, is where you will have to type the "file identification" (application/publication number) of the file you would want to search for:

1. When you start typing a number, the UI will try to validate the format, in order to have a better match with the numbers recording in the system for each providing IP Office:

   1.  the system will check the country code you are entering
   2.  provide a sample of numbers for the type of search (application or publication), so you can have a guide on how to enter the file number

   3. It will also start to generate a list of possible results, based on your previous searches and the information you are entering in the field:
