VI. Administration of trademark services available to the public (relating to facilities, e.g., for lodging applications, registering trademarks, assisting clients with search procedures, obtaining official publications and registry extracts)
In 2002, the Institute introduced two e-filing systems for applicants: One of them is based on the EASY software (with connection to the clients' database) and the other one is an internet solution (https://e-trademark.ige.ch).
About 40% to 50% of the applications are filed electronically.
