In order to ensure that the sequence listing generated by WIPO Sequence is compliant with WIPO ST.26, the filename should be provided using Latin characters onlyprintable characters from the Unicode Basic Latin code table only only (see paragraph 40(a)). There are only four elements within an ST.26-compliant sequence listing which allow non-Latin characters (see paragraph 40(a)):
- Applicant name (Latin equivalent must be provided)
- Inventor name (Latin equivalent must be provided)
- Invention title
- Non English qualifier values
