   Software:Solaris Solaris, Windows 7, Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server, Windows 2012 Server, Astra Linux operating systems.

   Carriers used:LTO LTO-7 magnetic tapes.

3. Internal databases: coverage, updates, interlinks with external sources

4. Establishment and maintenance of electronic search file: file building, updating, storage, documents from other offices included in the search file

   In 2022, the State Patent Fund was completed with electronic patent documents. The work on supplementing retrospective data with missing documents was continued. Updating of the electronic patent documents is performed in real-time mode with inclusion of the documents of the Russian Federation, foreign patent Offices and organizations in the information system "Patent Search".

   Storage of paper patent documents (11 892 518 copies) is provided by the VPTB FIPS.

5. Administrative management electronic systems (register, legal status, statistics, and administrative support)

   Applications for inventions and utility models are accepted by e-filing system on the Office website or through the Public Services Portal.

   The PPH, designed for filing applications for inventions and utility models, has the following features:

   - uploading and downloading of electronic documents in the electronic application;

   - planning the work of experts;

   - calculation of statistics;

   - providing access to the electronic application, the application components and bibliographic information;

   - preparation of outgoing correspondence and signed decisions;

   - preparation and transmission of data for publication;

   - searching for registered applications.

   The PPH is integrated with a single repository and e-filing system for inventions and utility models.

   For inventions, utility models, the patent status can take the values of "in force", "terminating", "ceased to be in force, but can be restored", "ceased to be in force". Information on the legal status of inventions and utility models is published by "Open Registers" on the Office website.

   In 2022, the State Register of Inventions and the State Register of Utility Models of the Russian Federation continued to fill in the records of electronic registers, i.e., the State Register of Inventions of the Russian Federation.

   As on December 31, 2022, the electronic registries contained:

   State Register of Inventions of the Russian Federation – 782 516 patents;

   State Register of Utility Models of the Russian Federation – 212 803 patents.
