CIPO has implemented ST.96 for the exchange of trademark information.

CIPO has plans intends to migrate from ST.36 for Patents and ST.86 for Industrial Designs to ST.96 as these systems are refreshed. There no plans to specifically move to ST.96part of its IT modernization plans.  Target dates for the implementation of ST96 for Patents and Industrial Designs have not yet been decided upon.
