In comparison with 2003, the total number of industrial design applications filings in 2004 is decreased for 11%, once we had 900 applications in 2003 and 620 in 2004. At the same time, the number of industrial design applications filed under the Hague Agreement is decreased for 36% once we had 712 applications in 2003 and 455 in 2004.
On the other hand, the Industrial Design Department granted 571 registrations in 2004 against 796 in 2003.
On December 31st, 2004, in Serbia and Montenegro, there were 7662 registered and valid industrial designs, including 442 industrial designs entered in the national register and 7220 industrial designs registered through the Hague Agreement.
