The situation in design proceedings was stable comparing to the previous year.
94 applications for industrial designs were filed with the Office in 2010. It is same number than in 2010. The most active foreign applicants were from the Czech Republic (13) and Sweden (3).
Slovak applicants filed 76 applications (increase by 13.4%). The share of domestic applications was 80.9%.
In 2010 78 designs were registered, that is 32.8% less than in 2009.
On December 31, 2010 there were 1,127 valid national designs registered in the Office register.
