Announcements on Industrial designs registered in the State Register (bibliographical data and pictures) were published in 12 issues of the Official Bulletin of National Institute of Intellectual Property (NIIP) "Oнеркесiр Меншiгi – Промышленная собственность ("Industrial Property") in 2006.
The bibliographical data of industrial designs under the WIPO standards are stored in the NIIP database in machine-readable form and on the paper carriers.
III. Matters concerning classifying, reclassifying and indexing of industrial design information according to the classification systems applied

An information search is carried out:
- of granted patents at the NIIP
- on application materials presented by applicants;
- by searching registered and issued Kazakhstan titles of protection for industrial designs;
- by searching databases of patent offices and organizations; and
- by searching other information sources.
Search systems and available databases of industrial designs on the Internet network are also used during the information search.
