 In exchange, the gap between the number of PI applications and that of STPI applications filed substantially decreased. Thus, 47% of the applicants opted for STPI and 53% – for PI (in 2013 this ratio was31 was 31:69%). However, in the case of national ap­plicants was kept the same ratio between the number of applications for PI and applications for STPI, which was 30:70%.
