In addition to the aforementioned, in 2024 the IPO CZ, other EU Intellectual Property Offices, the EUIPO and the European Commission continued work on convergence practices (ECP4), in particular focusing on   CP13 (Trade Mark Applications Made in Bad Faith) and CP14 (Trade Marks Contrary to Public Policy or to Accepted Principles of Morality) projects. This work culminated in the publication of Common communications relating to the CP13 and CP14 projects in the spring of 2024. The launch of the CP16 project (Signs Describing the Subject Matter of Goods and/or Services) and CP17 project (The Distinctive Character of Slogans) was being prepared.
