The main types of industrial design information activities include support of examination of industrial design applications, creation of a database for internal use in the examination body, publication of information about registered industrial designs in the official bulletin, creation of the interactive databases and information and reference systems for information support of a wide range of users via the Internet. Information on industrial designs is also published on optical carriers.

Participation in international or regional activities and projects related to industrial design information

In 2017 in the framework of international cooperation the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and Ukrpatent representatives took part in sessions and meetings of the WIPO Committees and Working Groups, among which were the 37^th and 38 ^th sessions of the Standing Committee on the Law of Trademarks, Industrial Designs and Geographical Indications.
