The WIPO Digital Access Service Office Portal ("DAS Office Portal"), available at DAS Office Portal, allows you to meet requirements for providing priority and similar documents in respect of participating Offices, without the need to obtain and send multiple certified paper copies of an application.

This secure web based portal solution is ideal for small to medium offices which have limited number of document exchange operations (daily or weekly). It can be used by the OFF (Office of First Filing) and OSF (Office of Second Filing) to perform respectively registration and retrieval operations.

DAS Office Portal requires a WIPO user account and is secured with a 2 factor authentication mechanism. For example, user authenticates first with username and password and additionally with an individual WIPO digital certificate

This system is built only for Industrial Property Office users. Users belong to the same IP Office can see the history and status of requests (registration/retrieval) made by all the users from the same IP Office.

Note
As of January 1, 2025, there are 46 DAS participating Offices in total.

As of 1st July 2014, 10 out of 11 participating Offices have already implemented the necessary operational and technical changes to offer the new Access Code procedure, enabling applicants to indicate on the application form the access code and request the OSF to retrieve the document. The Danish Patent and Trademark Office is the only office which operates DAS services as a depositing Office only.

As of 1st January 2015, the termination of the transitional period of DAS will be effective. It will not be possible to give access permissions to Offices by setting up Access Control List (ACL) via the DAS portal. The DAS web portal will be revised to provide tracking facilities to view details of the access history of your priority documents by Offices. The new version of the DAS web portal will be made available on December 19, 2014.
