DAS Infrastructure – ST.92/PDDP Development & Testing Update Development and testing of the DAS infrastructure for ST.92/PDDP compliance is progressing according to plan. Testing with IP Offices is on track to begin on April 1st, 2026, pending receipt of requests from IPOs to initiate testing. Production Launch — Updated Timeline While the WIPO DAS environment is expected to be ready for ST.92 on schedule, the production launch will be delayed beyond the originally proposed date of July 1st, 2026. A new launch date is to be confirmed, contingent on receiving official confirmation from at least one IP Office of its readiness to begin exchanging priority documents in ST.92/PDDP format. This delay is intentional: it allows IP Offices using the Office Portal that are not yet ready to process ST.92 to continue using the simplified PDF process for as long as possible. First exchanges of priority documents in ST.92/PDDP format are still anticipated later in 2026, most likely after the summer break. |
