Problem
Conflicting banners appear after attempting to validate or generate your sequence listing, where the project was created after importing an ST.25 file:
Cause
Testing has shown that if a user imports an invalid ST.25 file that is missing an <221> entry then there can be issues when validating the project, including both the success (blue) and error (red) banners appearing.
An example is provided here:
SEQUENCE LISTING <110> The Regents of the University of California <120> Hypersensitive ABA Receptors <130> 81906-956354 <140> PCT/US2015/047020 <141> 2015-08-26 <150> US 62/042,095 <151> 2014-08-26 <160> <170> PatentIn version 3.5 <210> <211> <212> <213> <400>
Resolution: In order to resolve this issue, the best thing to do is to delete the project and start again after ensuring the ST.25 file you are importing is valid. WIPO Sequence was not designed to perform validation checks for ST.25 sequence listings and assumes that only valid ST.25 files will be imported into a project. The USPTO created a tool to create check sequence listings for compliance with ST.25 called Checker: https://www.uspto.gov/patents/basics/types-patent-applications/utility-patent/checker-version-446
