What bibliographic data should be included in the sequence listing?
The bibliographic data that must be included in the sequence listing is defined in paragraph 45 of WIPO ST.26. If priority is not being claimed and the sequence listing is drafted before filing, only at least one applicant must be included as well as at least one invention title (in a particular language). In summary, either the applicant file reference or the application number must be provided (and preferably the filing date).
If more than one priority application has the same date then it does not matter which of the applications is included. This field is only mandatory if priority is being claimed.
