In cases that the amount of registrations to be done per day is quite large and there is the possibility of acting on the format of the filename of the PDF file, it would be possible to use the "Bulk mode" to perform the registration of the files in a "semi-automatic" mode.

To setup this mode the configuration of the office needs to be updated and due to this, please be aware that is either full manual mode or bulk mode.

If you decide to use the "bulk mode" you will no longer able to use the "manual mode" for the registration of new applications in WIPO DAS.

    1. Arrangement for providing Document Registration Information as FileName:

      1. Provide with IPRight, Application Number, Priority Filing Date and Applicant's Email ID, with Tilde ~ Symbol as Separator
        1. Example: design~AB 12-345~20240101~abc@email.com.pdf
      2. Application Number can have slashes, which can be indicated with Exclamation mark ! Symbol
        1. Example: design~AB!2024!12345~20240101~abc@email.com.pdf
      3. Priority Filing Date Format is YYYYMMDD
      4. With the Exception of Tilde ~ and Exclamation Mark ! Symbols, Applicant's Email ID can follow standard email address format

This is only feasible if your IT department can setup some sort of procedure for the automatic naming of files (ie: files can be extracted from a document storage automatically and a job applies the name according to this).

THIS IS NOT RECOMENDED FOR MANUAL OPERATION AS IS MORE ERROR PRONE IF DONE BY HUMANS.

The normal manual form is more easier to manage, and will take care of validating the filing data than this.

  1. After pressing the "upload file" button a message appears showing:
  2. If the "naming convention" is properly followed, the files will be automatically registered, and the Access code will be sent to the applicant:
    1. The "Registration successfully" will be shown:

If for some reason the filenaming convention is not properly shown, the system will shown an error, depending on the type of mistake the file name has:

You then press on "upload again" and the page will be updated to allow you to upload a file to replace the one that had an error:

If your office is interested on using this operational mode, please contact DAS SUPPORT for arranging a demo and discussing about its implementation.
