During the transition period for ST.92, and when an IP Office connected to WIPO DAS via TDA sends a request to retrieve an document from WIPODAS, the following change applies to how WIPO DAS handles documents if it includes additional files alongside the main PDF.
What's changing
When a DAS Registration contains additional files (beyond the core content PDF), the process will now follow these steps:
- The TDA Scheduler Job checks the WIPO DAS Registration table to determine whether the document includes any additional files.
- If additional files are detected, the system sends TDA Error Code 7 to the OSF.
- WIPO DAS then delivers the PDDP package via the oversize route (SFTP).
In PDDP package there are two cases
- When PDDP package only has core pdf in it (no additional document) in this case TDA scheduler shares the core pdf with merged cover page through TDA (similar to existing flow)
- When PDDP package has additional files with core pdf (may be supplementary files or mandatory folder has files like PNG or ST26 xml) in this case scheduler will share error code 7 and PDDP document will be shared through oversize route

Mar 27, 2026Thank you very much for the DTTF meeting held on March 26. As mentioned during the meeting, the JPO would like to request the following operations, and we would greatly appreciate your kind cooperation.
①DAS will extract the current DAS legacy PDF from the PDDP.ZIP file, respond with Status 0, and send the priority document (even if sequence listings or 3D drawings etc. are included, they will not be included in the PDF).
②If sequence listings or 3D drawings etc. are included in the PDDP.ZIP file, DAS will send the PDDP.ZIP file separately via the SFTP oversized route (status 7 will not be used).
