The activities of the Kyrgyzpatent is aimed at examination quality improvement in providing of legal protection to the Intellectual Property Subject Matters.

Statistics: changes in terms of application filings and grants with respect to previous year; trends or areas experiencing rapid changes
In 2016, 89 applications have been delivered to the Kyrgyzpatent for the granting of a patent for inventions which decreased for 29,36% than 2015 where receiving application was (126). 128 judgements on application have delivered for granting of a patent for invention. Positive desicions on application for invention are equal to 89,9% from total quantity of delivered judgements.

II. SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES RELATED TO PATENT INFORMATION CARRIED OUT BY THE OFFICE
Information and support provided by the Office to applicants regarding filing on paper and/or e-filing (instructions, seminars, etc.) - URLs
Office carries out informational search on inventions.
Within 2016 there have been provided consultations to applicants and inventors on issues of the legal protection for industrial property subjects matters. In order to improve the quality of filing application registration for inventions within the period of 2016 for universities as regional, so as metropolitan, have been carried out some workshops on topic: "Quality improvement of the application registration for Industrial Property subject matters in the Kyrgyz Republic". In the workshop have participated patent specialists, inventors, academicians, students and post-graduate-students. During the workshop have been considered issues on preparation of the document package for filing of application for inventions, utility models, industrial designs and international applications, compilation of application for invention subject matters - facility, method, substance, and as well as for industrial designs.

For the moment, transition to the e-filing application and e-document control on application for invention are under the preparation.

In the official office bulletin related to the invention have published the number of issued patent, bibliographic datas and furmula of invention. Official bulletin is available on paper, CD-disc and on website of the Office.

In general, the configuration of information network consists of server, router and computer.
Internal databases: coverage, updates, interlinks with external sources
Internal database on inventions is applicable for invention examination and continuously updated.
Establishment and maintenance of electronic search file: file building, updating, storage, documents from other offices included in the search file
E-search documents from other offices, included to the collection, are realises through their websites.
Administrative management electronic systems (register, legal status, statistics, and administrative support)
One of the main task of Kyrgyzpatent is automation of office production processes, support and development of databases, maintenance of centralized data storage and their unload in different formates for the further and final use, which guarantees the high level of identity of the final datas, providing for users on-line access to the database and unlimited entering into Internet. Maintainance and development of the office website carries out www.patent.kg , through which is provided an access for users to the statistical datas on industrial property subject matters.
Other matters
Currently, the concept formulation is going on in transition to the e-filing application for invention and e-document control on applications.
V. PROMOTION ACTIVITIES AIMED TO SUPPORT USERS IN ACCESS AND EFFICIENT USE OF PATENT INFORMATION
Patent library: equipment, collection management, network of patent libraries in the country, cooperation with foreign patent libraries
The State Patent-Technical Library (SPTL) under the Office, specialized on completing and organization patent and science - technical documentation and literature, by the republic storing of native and foreign patent documentation and information datas for the system development of Intellectual Property, provides an operative access to the patent information and provides librarian-informational service by using of information-communicative technologies.
Publications related to different business procedures and patent information sources available to users, for example, books, brochures, Internet publications, etc.
Published by office: Science - practical magazine "Kyrgyzpatent bulletin: Intellectual Property and Innovations issues", topical collections and abstract collections on branches.

During the year in the Kyrgyz Republic regions have carried out the training workshop on topic: "Legal protection and efficient using of Industrial Property subject matters" with a purpose of information on role and importance of the industrial property and company activity.

VI. INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF PATENT INFORMATION
International exchange and sharing of patent information in machine-readable form, e.g., priority documents, bibliographic data, abstracts, search reports, full text information
Within the change of patent information, the monthly publicated an official bulletin "Intellectual Property", Annual report and CD-ROM discs with information on Intellectual Property are distributed by the office in among of the in-distant and near foreign countries patent offices.
Participation in international or regional activities and projects related to patent information
Within the period of May 23-26, 2016 have carried out an internship for the office examiners in Rospatent (Moscow) on issues of examination carry out and application consideration for Industrial Property subject matters.

VII. OTHER RELATED MATTERS
None
1.Classification is allotting one or more classification symbols (e.g., IPC symbols) to a patent application, either before or during search and examination, which symbols are then published with the patent application.
2. Preclassification is allotting an initial broad classification symbol (e.g., IPC class or subclass, or administrative unit) to a patent application, using human or automated means for internal administrative purposes (e.g., routing an application to the appropriate examiner). Usually preclassification is applied by the administration of an office.
3. Reclassification is the reconsideration and usually the replacement of one or more previously allotted classification symbols to a patent document, following a revision and the entry into force of a new version of the Classification system (e.g., the IPC). The new symbols are available on patent databases.
