- to avoid the line numbering (p.14 of ST.22);

- first word of each part of the application should specify the corresponding part (p.16 of ST.22);

- Landscape pages should be turned 90 degrees counterclockwise for integration within the set of portrait pages (p.21 of ST.22);

- to avoid the use of footnotes, margin texts and headers (p.22 of ST.22);

- to separate the text area from the tables, formulae and images by blank margins (p.23 of ST.22);

- paragraphs should be separated by spacing that is at least twice as big as the intra-paragraph line spacing (p.28 of ST.22);

- all characters within a paragraph line should have their baselines carefully aligned…(p.29 of ST.22);

- justified text paragraphs should be avoided. (p.30 of ST.22);

- to avoid word splitting by the use of hyphens (p.31 of ST.22);

- for the tables - (p.32-33 of ST.22);

- for font details - (p.35-39 of ST.22);

- to avoid the text underlining (p.41 of ST.22).

Besides, Rospatent does not publish these Requirements in its Bulletin (only – in the text of Rules on its website). And there are no any examples of good and bad practice (p.50 of ST.22).

It should be noted that the Standard does not provide the possibility to describe all the cases of the Russian office proceeding, so the compatible schema are used.
