I. GENERAL OVERVIEW OF RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN PATENT INFORMATION ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT BY THE OFFICE
Outline of main policies and plans aimed at development of patent information activities and expected time frames for their realization
Kyrgyzpatent's activities are directed to improvement of quality of examination by provision of legal protection to intellectual property objects.
New projects launched or resumed this year in the context of the policies and plans mentioned above, short description: aims, partners, tasks
Carrying out work among patent specialists and inventors on improvement the quality of execution of applications for inventions.

Statistics: changes in terms of application filings and grants with respect to previous year; trends or areas experiencing rapid changes
In 2015 Kyrgyzpatent received 126 application for the grant of a patent for the invention that decreased by 9,35% in comparison with 2014. Delivered 117 judgments of applications for the grant of a patent for the inventions. Favourable decisions on applications for the invention comprise 92.3% of the total amount of the delivered judgment.

II. SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES RELATED TO PATENT INFORMATION CARRIED OUT BY THE OFFICE
Information and support provided by the Office to applicants regarding filing on paper and/or e-filing (instructions, seminars, etc.) - URLs
During 2015 consultations were provided to applicants and inventors concerning protection of the rights to objects of an industrial property.
27.02.2015 the seminar "Improvement of quality of execution applications for inventions, useful models and industrial designs in KR" is held. The seminar was attended by patent specialists, inventors and graduate students. The seminar considered issues on preparation of a set of documents on the filing of applications for inventions, industrial designs and international applications, preparation of applications for the object of the invention - a device, method, substance, as well as industrial design. From April to June 2015 the training and practical classes to inventors are given in registration and preparation of applications for inventions, utility models and industrial designs.

Today, the electronic form filing of application is missing; there is a preparation for the transition of electronic filing and electronic document management of applications for the invention.

III. SOURCES OF PATENT INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE OFFICE
Official bulletin
Main types of publications of the Office (patent applications, full text, first pages, abstracts, bibliographic data, granted patents, etc.), medium (on paper, on CDs, online - URLs)
Number of the granted patent, bibliographic data and formula of the invention are published in the Official gazettes of department in the relations of inventions. The official gazettes is available on paper, CD - disk and on the website of the office.

Are available to experts the WIPO (PATENTSCOPE), FIPS (RUPAT), EAPO (EAPATIS) database on inventions.

IV. ICT SUPPORT TO SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES RELATED TO PATENT INFORMATION CARRIED OUT BY THE OFFICE

One of the main objectives of Kyrgyzpatent is the automation of manufacturing processes department, support and development of databases, providing centralized storage and unloading in various formats for further end-use, which ensures a high level of identity of the final data, providing users with on-line access to databases and unlimited Internet access. Implemented and development of the website of the office www.patent.kg through which access to statistical data on objects of an industrial property is provided to users is performed.
Other matters
Now there is a development of the specification on transition to electronic filling of applications for inventions and electronic document according to applications.
V. PROMOTION ACTIVITIES AIMED TO SUPPORT USERS IN ACCESS AND EFFICIENT USE OF PATENT INFORMATION
Patent library: equipment, collection management, network of patent libraries in the country, cooperation with foreign patent libraries
The State Patent and Technical Library (SPTL) in case of office specializing in completing and the organization of patent and scientific and technical documentation and literature, republican storage of domestic and foreign patent documentation and information base for development of system of intellectual property provides quick access to the patent information and provides library information services with use of information and communicative technologies.
Publications related to different business procedures and patent information sources available to users, for example, books, brochures, Internet publications, etc.
Office issued: Scientific and practical journal "Bulletin of Kyrgyzpatent: Issues of Intellectual Property and Innovation", the subject selections and abstract collections on branches.

VI. INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF PATENT INFORMATION
International exchange and sharing of patent information in machine-readable form, e.g., priority documents, bibliographic data, abstracts, search reports, full text information
Office, within the framework of the exchange of patent information are distributed among patent offices and abroad published by the official monthly bulletin "Intellektualdyk menchik" Annual Report and CDs with information on intellectual property.
Participation in international or regional activities and projects related to patent information
On October 21-22, 2015 Kyrgyzpatent jointly with WIPO held the Subregional seminar on ensuring protection of intellectual property rights.

VII. OTHER RELATED MATTERS

1.Classification is allotting one or more classification symbols (e.g., IPC symbols) to a patent application, either before or during search and examination, which symbols are then published with the patent application.
2. Preclassification is allotting an initial broad classification symbol (e.g., IPC class or subclass, or administrative unit) to a patent application, using human or automated means for internal administrative purposes (e.g., routing an application to the appropriate examiner). Usually preclassification is applied by the administration of an office.
3. Reclassification is the reconsideration and usually the replacement of one or more previously allotted classification symbols to a patent document, following a revision and the entry into force of a new version of the Classification system (e.g., the IPC). The new symbols are available on patent databases.
