In 2015 Kyrgyzpatent received 23 applications for patent granting for industrial design. As compared with previous year quantity of applications decreased to 43,3%. 32 positive decisions were issued.
In accordance with the International Classification of Industrial Designs (ICID) maximal number of applications was submitted by subclass 09-01 (bottles, flasks, pots, carboys …..), by subclass 12-15 (tires and snow chains for cars….), 06-01 (Chairs, armchairs and similar furniture….), 09-07 (devices for closing,….) 01-01 (human and animal foodstuffs….), 02-05 (neckties, scarves, kerchiefs….) 11-02 (trinkets, decorations for tables, flower vases….) 14-12 (data processing equipment as well as peripheral apparatus and devices….)

One of the main tasks of Kyrgyzpatent is - automation of production processes of the Office, support and development of databases, providing centralized data storage and unloading in various formats for further final use, which ensures a high level of identity of the final data, providing users with on-line access to databases and unlimited Internet access. Implemented support and development of the website of Kyrgyzpatent: www.patent.kg, through which users have access to the statistics on industrial property

V. PROMOTION ACTIVITIES AIMED TO SUPPORT USERS IN ACCESS AND EFFICIENT USE OF INDUSTRIAL DESIGN INFORMATION
Kyrgyzpatent conducts the patent search on Industrial Designs
Office's library (if deals with industrial design information): equipment, collection management, network of libraries in the country, cooperation with foreign libraries
Under the Kyrgyzpatent, functions the State Patent Technical Library (SPTL). SPTL has the ability to carry out a patent search, and to advise on the execution of application for patent, also patent search can be carried out over the Internet. Its funds, totaled more than 17 million copies of the special types of media determine the leading role of the SPTL in the library system of the country: the patent and normative-technical documentation, scientific and technical literature and periodicals. Cooperation with foreign patent libraries is absent.
Publications related to different business procedures and industrial design information sources available to users, for example, books, brochures, Internet publications, etc.
Kyrgyzpatent publishes the scientific journal "Bulletin of Kyrgyzpatent: Issues on Intellectual Property and Innovation", booklets to the applicants on industrial designs
