Background
The WIPO Digital Access Service (DAS, also known as the Priority Document Digital Access Service) is a system allowing priority documents to be exchanged directly between Offices instead of requiring the applicant to request and forward certified copies of patent applications to support priority claims.
The system provides for applicants and offices to securely exchange documents, meeting the needs of the Paris Convention for certification.
New WIPO DAS infrastructure
We are in the process to migrate to a new server infrastructure, which will modernize the look and feel of the WIPO DAS user interfaces and will improve the performance (and functionality) of the system.
The switch to the new WIPO DAS will be on this Thursday, 29th of August.
Be aware that WIPO DAS will be momentarily offline during the Thursday morning.
For more information on the changes, and the up-to-date information on the day of the switch, please check the following page(s):
We will be posting updated information of the new system (and U.I.) and detailed information on how we are going to do the migration to the new system and what is going to happen during the time WIPO DAS is down on that day.
Support and contact points
The DAS system is the responsibility of the WIPO IP Office Business Division (IPOBSD), working in coordination with the WIPO PCT Sector for questions relating to the IB as an accessing and depositing office.
