Although WIPO Sequence can both import and validate simple sequence listings greater than 100Kwhich contain greater than 100,000 sequences, if WIPO Sequence has trouble importing a particular sequence listing, we provide the following work-around solution below.

- Create a project by importing a just a subset of the desired a specified range of sequences which form part the selected sequence listing. For example, if the sequence listing is has 100,000 sequences, then import 20,000 in the first pass.
- Within the project details page of the project, continue to import successive ranges of sequences into the relevant project using the import sequences function.
- Once completeyou have completed this import process, verify that the current number of sequences shown at the top of the project that the project matches the current number of sequences is present in the project. sequence that you have imported.
