USPTO
The connection between WIPO and USPTO will be upgraded to REST API transfer.
This is a major change and might affect the delivery of US files to OSFs, delays are expected during the transition and might extend until the end of the weekend.
Please be aware and if possible try to reduce the retrieval request to the minimum during the days before the switch to the REST transaction.
Updates:
TDA connection with USPTO is now offline, request that were pending and/or new request for US files will not be responded until US goes back online through REST.USPTO has managed to connect to WIPO PROD and retrieved a sample file through REST, connection from US to WIPO DAS seems to be working as expected. For the current plan, USPTO will fully start their system using REST on Thursday 24th at 10 am EDT
Connection with USPTO partially restored.
Registrations by USPTO: OK
Retrievals by USPTO: OK
Forward request to USPTO: Okeish....
Some network disruption still remain that is being handled by scripts, this to be resolved soon after firewall rules are updated.
Status:
USPTO: is resending all their pending retrieval request that were not responded by DAS by the time the connection was stopped.
DAS: all new retrieval request for US documents are being send to USPTO, and are being responded (some delays due to firewall issue, but still working).
DAS: old pending request that were not responded by the time the connection was dropped will be reprocessed in the coming days (require some manual work)
Will keep updating you.
