The expression "industrial designs" covers industrial designs and models. Offices which issue design patents should report their design patent information activities in this series of Annual Technical Reports.
I. Evolution of registration activities
There are no changes experienced in terms of application fillings and registration in 2006 with respect to the previous year .
The number of the registered industrial designs is “ 442 “ one from 1/1/2006 till 31/12/2006 .
II. Matters concerning the generation, reproduction, and distribution of industrial design documents and of secondary sources of industrial design information, i.e., official gazettes
There are no trends or areas experiencing rapid changes with respect to the previous year .
III. Matters concerning classifying, reclassifying and indexing of industrial design information according to the classification systems applied
The industrial designs are published monthly in official gazette without photos, but only numbers and short description of the industrial design.
We are going to issue a private gazette that belongs to D.C.I.P to publish the industrial design but we need the help of WIPO in this field.
IV. Search file establishment and upkeep
We don’t have any standard concerning reclassifying and indexing of industrial design information according to the classification systems because the protection of the industrial design is accured to the general shape and to all classes, so it is difficult to establish an electronic archive.
V. Activities in the field of computerized search systems for industrial designs
VI. Administration of industrial design information products and services available to the public (relating to facilities, e.g., for lodging applications, registering designs, assisting clients with search procedures, obtaining official publications and registry extracts)
VII. Matters concerning mutual exchange of industrial design documentation and information
VIII. Matters concerning education and training including technical assistance to developing countries (please indicate URLs of web pages of the Office’s website wherever appropriate)
In the field of seminars and training courses, we are looking forward to the help of WIPO to continue the training of our staff of industrial designs.
Section in the field of classifying and electronic archive and Hague Agreement.
