As part of the Organization development plan for the IT infrastructure, our division (with the help of the colleagues of WIPO IT division), is in the process of migrating the accounts used for the data exchange with WIPO and the support of WIPO Software products, to a new SFTP server infrastructure.
Besides the enhanced security and resilience of the new hardware, the new infrastructure will allow the users to upload "unlimited" data, which can now be stored for a longer period of time (up to two years).
In the following pages, we describe the process that should be use to generate the RSA SSH key pair, required to use the new service. We also include instructions on how to set up common SFTP clients to access the new service (once access has been granted to the IP Office)
