Some changes in the TDA and PCT-EDI protocols will be required to support Route D. For TDA related changes, it will be discussed via the TDA forum. In respect of PCT-EDI, additional elements are added in the DTD. The following samples are produced as possible examples:

  • A new version of the library-transaction-v2-0.dtd is used to structure XML requests and responses in DAS exchange
  • A sample (Route D) ADD-ENTRY XML request sent by UK which provides a copy of the priority document to be held in WIPO's digital library and the corresponding successful response package
  • A sample (Route D) ADD-ENTRY XML request sent by CN with reference to the priority document help in its own digital library and the corresponding successful response package
  • A sample GET-DOCUMENT XML request sent by ES for the above GB application and the corresponding successful response package
  • A sample GET-DOCUMENT XML request sent by UK to retrieve a MY foreign priority document held in a JP application and the corresponding successful response package
  • A sample "in-progress" temporary response package generated by DAS in response to a request submitted by FI to a MY foreign priority document held in a JP application (temporary response is provided if the depositing Office does not reply within 24 hours).
